This unique Historic Inn, built in 1872, features three styles of rooms from Western to old world decor. The Cowboy Room contains a King size bed plus furniture made by the owner and is a fine example of experiencing the old West. The Indian Room features authentic Pendleton Blankets, antiques and a saguaro rib ceiling.
The furniture in the Victorian Room was made in the 1800's by a cabinet maker from Florence.

The Inn is highlighted by a Spanish style patio where guest enjoy cool evening surrounded by flowers and native plants. Guests from all over the world have gathered here for book signings, poetry readings and wine tasting. Jane Candia Coleman, who received a Pulitzer Prize for her Western novels, signed books in the
charming scene as did Cowboy Hall of Fame author, J.P.S. Brown.

Originally the Inn was divided into three units and contained a store, residence and meat market. After 1915, it was converted to a single residence. Your host, Eddie Taylor purchased the property in 1981 and restored it to its present condition. You will see that this home is an excellent example of Sonoran-style Architecture. The saguaro rib ceiling in the living room is one of the few remaining in Florence, though this was common in homes built at the turn of the century. The Inn is one of the best preserved and least altered buildings in town and is definitely worth a visit.
The Florence Historic Home Tour is proud to feature this beautiful building during its annual event in Febuary.

You will find that Taylor's Bed and Breakfast is centrally located, only 60 miles from either Phoenix or Tucson and in the most beautiful Sonoran Desert scenery in Arizona. There is ample opportunity here for shopping, museums, hiking, bird watching and enjoying the many cultural activities of our big cities while enjoying the peace, charm and beauty of historic Florence. Your host can arrange a guided historic walking tour for you to explore the architectural styles of early Arizona, can recommend sites, tours, scenic byways and events in the area and will welcome you in the traditional friendly, Western way. In fact, he looks forward to doing just that!

Because of the valuable antiques, all rooms are non-smoking, but you can enjoy your favorite tobacco out side on the comfortable patio.

To insure that you secure the room of your choice, reservations should be made in advance of your arrival.
